WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY PHOTO SESSION The most important thing is to wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident! For family or group photos, coordinating colors can look great in the final images. For headshots I strongly recommend avoiding loud or distracting patterns and choosing colors that complement each other.
DO YOU OFFER RETOUCHING OR EDITING SERVICES I use advanced retouching techniques in my postprocessing workflow. My biggest goal is to make sure that the photos look natural and unedited. I will describe it using my headshot services as an example. My headshots and portraits are professionally edited in the MOST RESPECTFUL way to you. I'm documenting people, not replacing them. I use but do not limit myself with: ⚪Background clean-up ⚪Color correction ⚪Contrast adjustments ⚪Removing blemishes ⚪Removing stray hairs ⚪Eyes enhancements ⚪Removing pimples, scars, and spots on the skin
MAKEUP AND HAIR Less is more. It's easier to add on makeup during the shoot as we go rather than take it out. Try to stick with a very clean natural look. We have a great makeup and hair studio whom we work very closely with. Please let us know ahead of time if you want to have a Hair & Makeup Artist before or during your shoot.
WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY I use professional-grade equipment to capture high-quality images, including top-of-the-line cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software.
CAN I BRING PROPS OR ACCESSORIES TO MY PHOTO SESSION Absolutely! If you have any props or accessories that you'd like to include in your photos, feel free to bring them along. Just let me know ahead of time so that we can plan accordingly.
HOW DO I PAY FOR YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES I accept payment through several different methods, including cash, or online payment platforms such as PayPal or Venmo, Cashapp. I can send you an email invoice so you can use your card to pay. I do not accept Checks.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY PHOTO SESSION It's best to book your photo session as far in advance as possible to ensure that I have availability on the day and time you prefer. Contact me to discuss scheduling options.
WHAT IS A HEADSHOT A headshot is a portrait in which the focus is on the person. Usually, headshots are shot from the chest up and focus on your facial expression. At my studio, half body headshot is an option as well.
WHAT IS A PORTRAIT Portraiture can be many things and can range from environmental portraiture to full-body shots and so on. All my portrait sessions include a headshot session as well. We can create and add some creative set-ups, props, and style the shoot according to your personal brand.
